A really enjoyable night last night, seeing a great array of creative images on display. Also really interesting to hear how each of the authors present went about the creation of their images.

This week at club we will host our annual internal "Creative Digital" competition.
The Creative Digital competition is separate from the internal league competitions, the annual open competition, and all external competitions. It is intended to encourage the creative use of digital manipulation techniques. "Straight" photographic images should not do well in this competition, even if they are of a very high standard.
Trevor McHugh will be joining us from Desborough & Rothwell Photographic Society to judge.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time the vote for set subject titles over the last two weeks. In last weeks meeting, those that attended agreed to put the top choices into two hats, defined by whether it is was a 'Technique' based or a 'Creative' based subject.
Selection commenced, alternating the hats until we had our final set subject titles for the next two seasons. They are as follows:

These are the order that they will appear in and the dates and judges will be confirmed in due course.
