The PAGB Inter-club PDI Championship took place at Warwick Arts Centre yesterday.  New City and Harpenden Photographic Societies were selected to represent the Chilterns Association of Camera Club.

38 clubs from all parts of the UK took part and as usual the standard of entry was extremely high. After the first two rounds the leading 9 clubs went into the final while the remaining 29 clubs took part in the Plate competition.  The victors were Wigan 10 Foto Club (again), who tied with Inn Focus Group in the Final, then took the title by a single point in the tie break. 

New City put in a respectable performance, finishing 23rd out of 29 clubs in the Plate competition (i.e.32nd out of 38 overall).  This might not sound great, but when you consider that there are over 1000 clubs in the PAGB, and only the top 39 made it to the Championship, it is really not bad!
