Photography in the Cold and Wet!
Next week on 28th January at our members evening, the theme is getting the best images in the cold and wet winter weather. We will be finding out...
Where and when to go? What equipment to take? What to wear? When does the light look best? Should you process winter images differently? How wet can camera equipment get if you want to use it again?
Colin Mill, our landscape Guru will be talking about how to get the best images in the winter months, with recent examples.
Dave Cromack will be showing us images from a very cold place; Iceland.
Jonathan and Sue Vaines will be telling us how they get those competition winning winter images.
There may be other last minute contributors too!
Portraits Practical Evening - January 7th 2016
Hi all,
Happy New Year to you all and our start to the 2016 programme should be fun with a model shoot at the hall.
We will have studio set ups for a single light, a double light as well as an outside Speedlite setup so there should be plenty of creative opportunity for you.
Model wise we have booked Nix and Matt, who worked with us at the Tree Cathedral in July, and Em Theresa who also worked with us last summer
You should have received an email from me asking you to confirm your attendance so that I can gauge the numbers and divide you into 3 groups that will rotate around the sets during the evening. This is to avoid the dreaded 'scrum' that can occur without a wee bit of control being in place. If you haven't seen the email then you can access the link here:

See you all on the 7th
