Theme : Freeze Frame/Slow Frame
Due to unforeseen circumstance we have a change to the original plan (Street Photography practical).
Instead, this week we're going to look at the power of flash and its ability to freeze a subject, as well as showing down our shutter speed to give the impression of motion.
We’ll be experimenting with a "PLUTO" trigger
We'll also try longer shutter speeds to get motion blur.
Finally, we'll be looking at the importance of finding the correct depth of field during this tabletop practical exercise at the hall
Useful equipment for the evening
Tripod
Camera
Macro/Closeup lens (ideally, but not neccesary)
Flashgun/speedlight if you have one (again, ideally, but not neccesary as I have some spares)
If anyone has a small empty fishtank please bring it along! We can try some freezeframes of things dropping into water as well.
p.s. if you have an Olympus camera below, please take a look at Pro Capture in preparation for the evening
