This Thursday coming (16th July)

Colin will be hosting and we'll be looking at Cityscapes & Parkland Landscapes

Where:
Car park between Marlborough Gate & North Fourteenth Street.

What:

  • Cityscape - the buildings around John Ormond House & John Lewis
  • Landscape - Campbell Park, start & finish at the Beacon.

Cityscapes - there are numerous opportunities to take both wide shots and close ups of the architecture around that part of CMK, and if the light is kind to us we'll hopefully have buildings bathed in golden light.

Landscapes - from the elevated views from the beacon through to the flat of the cricket pitch there's plenty to photograph around Campbell Park. A supplementary visit prior to the evening is advisable if you want to work out where the best view for sunset might be.

Meet at 7 for a briefing, sunset is around 21:20 and if the weather is good we could be shooting well past 10pm.

Remember, our summer programme is FREE! and open to all! If you're new to photography, or have been practicing if for years, you're most welcome to join us
